Who is Pamela...

My childhood memories are of clothing, fabrics, trims, furniture, and all the latest fashions. Living with a father who worked for Jantzen Swimwear and a mother who was a college graduate in fashion design made my life a dream.

MomFashions200Being with Mom meant conversations about color in paintings, designs of clothing, trims, and always a trip to the latest haunt for fabrics.

My dad worked with fashion models, sports figures, and textile mills, constantly traveling to the worlds beautiful places. He directed dinner conversations to color, fiber texture, and where everything came from.

Sales were key. He always reminded me of listening skills and treating customers with respect.

My parents were the major influence that led me to the pursuit of a design degree at the University of Connecticut, where I also studied art history. I worked my way through a number of design firms in Connecticut and Massachusetts, and taught interior design for 20 years. My passion continues to grow as I work for my own clients today.

I thank my clients as well as the wonderful and talented people that work in the custom workrooms that produce our designs.

My career has been formed through relationships, and I believe it is the designer/client relationship that must be nurtured to create wonderful spaces.

Listening, acting upon, delivering, and following up, that's a true relationship...
